No School Day : Day Trip Adventures

A really fun way to spend a day ... take a day trip. 

  • The best kid friendly destinations in the Bay Area

  • Transportation and admission fees are included

  • Your child will be in a small group with lots of personal attention from our awesome, experienced day trip staff.

  • Groups are organized by age, interests and friendships . 

Schedule:

  • All trips depart and return to the AndrewsCamps Center,
    400 Tamal Plaza, Corte Madera, 94925

  • Meet at 9:00 AM for on time 9:30 AM departure.  

  • Return at 4:45 PM - 5:00 PM for pick up at 5:00 PM​​

Scandia and The Jelly Belly Factory

WHAT TO BRING: Lunch and reusable water bottles

OPTIONAL/RECOMMENDED ITEMS: extra money for jelly belly factory and scandia (at scandia most games are included but video games with prizes are not)

 We start the day with a tour of the Jelly Belly Factory to learn how candy is made.  This is an educational and fun experience. We then head to Scandia located just minutes from the Jelly Belly Factory. Scandia is filled with fun activities like laser tag, ball pit/tube room, mini-golf, bumper boats, go-carts, and arcade games, all included. There is also a snack shack on site for the kids if lunch wasn't enough.

WHAT TO BRING: Pack a lunch  and reusable water bottle

OPTIONAL ITEMS: Safety equipment (helmets, knee pads etc.) Money for arcade and snack bar if desired.

The day starts at Leghorn's Park in Petaluma where we will also be eating lunch.

We will then head to Rohnert Park's long famous roller skating rink, CAL SKATE. This is always a fun day for the campers from beginner to expert.  Campers may choose either roller skates (4 wheels), or roller blades.  Skate assistive device provided for beginners to help with balance. If the kids need a breather there is also an on-site arcade.

WHAT TO BRING: Pack a lunch Lunch & reusable water bottle,  Rebounderz socks if you have them

OPTIONAL ITEMS: Money for video games and snack bar.

The day starts at Leghorn's Park in Petaluma where we will also be eating lunch. We will then head to Rebounderz for lunch and an afternoon of fun at Rebounderz with activities for every campers of all ages. There are trampoline arenas, trampoline dodge ball, slam-dunk basketball courts, a gigantic foam pit, 4 ninja warrior obstacle courses for every skill level, an amazing playground, and a giant high jump. Your kids will be exhausted and happy!

The Exploratorium - Pier 15 San Francisco

WHAT TO BRING: Lunch and reusable water bottles

OPTIONAL/RECOMMENDED ITEMS: Money for snack bar and the gift shop (lots of games and take home puzzles on sale).

What a treat! Visitors come from around the world to experience this original and unique place. With more than 600 interactive exhibits, students exlore science, art and human perception through indoor and outdoor galleries. It's a learning and fun journey. We spend the whole day enjoying this very special San Francisco destination that is suitable for kids of all ages

The Charles Schulz Musuem & Snoopy's Home Ice Rink

WHAT TO BRING: Pack a lunch Lunch & reusable water bottle,
                           Dress in layers, Calf Length Socks

OPTIONAL/RECOMMENDED ITEMS: Gloves, knee pads, and a helmet. Money for snack bar

We begin at the Charles M. Schulz Museum. Students enjoy a guided tour and hands-on workshop where they will learn to draw Schultz Peanuts cartoon characters and learn how to create their own animation. Then it’s up the street to Snoopy’s Home Ice, an historical and fun place to ice skate. Right, Charlie Brown?
